Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

But I'm very happy with the fitment and quality (obviously it was pre-fitted on his car, so I had zero issues).
Leading evidence: 'Install on his car' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Install on his car' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Just got back from the HIN show in AC this past weekend and have added some mods. As some of you might know, I was going to do the 02+ conversion. In fact, I bought the 02+litronics and turbo bumper (still have it if anyone is interested), but decided to go against it as I'm not sure how long I will have this car. I also got a killer deal on a GT2 front for 99-01 cars (i've always loved the way deadeye and karlooz's front looked) and decided to go for it....
My car is also dropped on PSS9's now and I absolutely love them. I was going back and forth b/w X74, PSS9s and JICs. In the end, I went for PSS9s because ride comfort was very important to me (mostly city driving and the occasional DE). I have it on medium settings in terms of dampening and am very happy with the results. The handling is night and day over the stock. The floatiness I felt at higher speeds is gone and I feel confident taking sharper turns. I think the car could be a tad lower (right now a finger can fit through the wheel gap), but I'm already scraping in my garage so I can't go any further. The only question I have for other PSS9 owners is, do you hear a sort of "clanking" noise when you roll over a hard bump? I'm not sure if that is normal. Other than that, I think it is a great mod and would recommend it to every 996 owner. It not only handles great now, but looks much better and the stock wheel gap is all but gone. Anyways, heres some pics..... my roof spoiler didn't make it in time for the show. Oh well.
Next mods: rear bumper and audio.
looks sinister. i've been tossing around the idea of painting my car black too. you won't believe the number of thumbs up i get on the road because of the aero bits.
it's funny, you are adding stuff to your car. i am stripping out the interior of mine... no more stereo, speakers, amp...
delirium - thanks!
Gota911 - Thanks Tim!
kilrgt - paul, just trying to catch up to you!
You, sir, are the mod king
deadeye - Glad to be a part of the "2" club now.
She is breathing MUCH better now... Do you have any sort of grill to cover the large openings? Like I told karlooz, you are the other reason my wallet is lighter!!
karlooz - can't wait to see your car fully stripped. The idea is very tempting, but I'm not a track nut like you are
And keep it silver! Black is such a pain to maintain
pl - yeah no photoshop pic
Sorry for the bad quality of the pics, my digital camera is horrible. And during the show, there was little to no lighting so I couldn't get any good shots
Sick bumper, Where did you get it from? My car is actually at the body shop right now getting the MASHAW GT-2 front bumper on with the CF lip and sideskirts. I can't tell from the pics, is your lip painted or CF?
Beautiful mod, good job
vulture - I got it from another member who had it previously on his car. Not quite sure where he got it from actually. But I'm very happy with the fitment and quality (obviously it was pre-fitted on his car, so I had zero issues). The lip is painted. Hey, were you able to make it to HIN??
mitty - thanks brotha
Wow nice car, just love the look. Didn't think the GT3 wing with the GT2 bumper would team up real well.
BTW, where did you get the CF GT3 blade? I was reading not too long ago about people wanting to know if CF blade existed because they felt the GT3 RS CF blade was too much...
RJ
Thanks man
Vove - porsches are actually placed into the "exotic" category at HIN (go figure). SOO... I had to go against the 360 modena (which was TT'ed), the gallardo, and the gt40. So you can guess who won.
There was a few other porsches there. A aerokitted black 997, a 996TT w/rims (everything else stock), a 964TT fully modifed w/roll cage and another 99-01 996 vert w/misha wing, HRE's, lowered and that ridiculous looking GT3-R bumper--looked horrible on the car!
cway27 - Thanks man.... The straight lines of the GT2 fit the sides and the wing nicely IMHO. Looks almost stock in person, like it was meant to be. The CF blade was custom made to fit on top of the OEM base. It is the exact shape of the oem and cf weave is pretty flawless. It came from farnbacherloles in CT.
