Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Guys, The last few mornings I have started my car and it turns over fine, but when it fires up it barely fires at all. Twice it is stalled, and I recrank and hit the gas just a bit as it fires. Any idea on this. I ran a system check and it came back error free. Any ideas would be appreciated.

POST 4Original post

The dealer did it. But according to the gurus over at Renntech it's a 15 minute job. You might want to do a search there.

POST 5Original post

What year is your car. Only the 99 C2 had an idle control valve. May be nothing more than a bad tank of gas.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It is a 2004 C2. 4k miles- daily driver bought new Dec 2005.

POST 7Original post

1999Porsche911 *May be nothing more than a bad tank of gas.* Having had both a '64 Galaxy 500 and a '76 Peugeot 504 that did the same thing because of a bad tank of gas, that was my first thought.
