I had good luck with them repairing a G-Wagen & a 116 in the late '80's/early '90's.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I've decided to pull the trigger and perform an LN engineering IMS retrofit on my 996. After a week of debate I've decided this job is best handled by a professional and I'm looking for some advise. I live in northern Colorado and was wondering if anyone in my area has experience with one of the Colorado Porsche dealers performing this service. Thanks in advance!
I was looking at that but decided to go with the retrofit. With either option I'm not comfortable assuming the dealer will have a technician experienced with either product. Maybe I'm being to cautious but I figured this was the best source for references out there.
I just looked at a Cayman at Gunbarrel Import Motors in Niwot, and Jon, the owner, mentioned they had done an L&N retrofit sometime in the past.
Might be worth looking into.
If you want a dealer, go to Stevinson. Ask for Chance (tech) or Justin (supervisor). If you want an Indy, call Greg at Eurosport Limited in Englewood.
I would steer clear of Gunbarrel.
I had good luck with them repairing a G-Wagen & a 116 in the late '80's/early '90's. Admittedly not Porsches, but good work on expensive cars nonetheless.
Out of curiosity, why steer clear?
Well the original owner of Gunbarrel (Karl)...was quite knowledgable...since he sold the place, so went the Porsche technical knowledge...MB's OK, Porsche's...no way.
