It sounds like either Sunset sent the wrong solenoid/relay or the manufacturer has made some changes since the Porsche guidance was written.

Worst case, I can run the PSE's without using the switch but that defeats the purpose of going with PSE rather than Fister's.

It was a pain to decipher the instructions because the wires' lengths were in millimeters, the multi-colored wires that are marked with abbreviated names, and you also have to run the whole set from center console to fuse box by your left footwell and then to the engine.

I purchased a used set of PSE mufflers and ordered the solenoid/relay and wiring harnesses, etc. from Sunset Porsche. My mechanic is having trouble making the relay work. As he says "this is kicking my ***". Apparently, the problem is that Porsche's wiring diagram does not match up to the way the relay is wired. It sounds like either Sunset sent the wrong solenoid/relay or the manufacturer has made some changes since the Porsche guidance was written. Has anyone else encountered this problem and if so, how did you solve it. Worst case, I can run the PSE's without using the switch but that defeats the purpose of going with PSE rather than Fister's. Also, in the interest of domestic ttranquility, I would really like the option of closing the valves! Thanks in advance.

Why not hook it up manually to a switch? The only reason Porsche hooks it up the way they do is to control the valve at various RPMs. Most defeat this anyways since the either want it loud all the time or quiet.
