Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

It ran really well and when I let my student go I layed back for a bit and then I got on it.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I enjoyed my first track experience with my (new-to-me) 99 996 C2. It has LSD, PSS9s M30 bars and 18" wheels ( 225/285). With teh PSS9"s set at number 4 I went out the the newbies in my NASA group ( I instruct) just to do a shake down. I was doing a lead/follow excercise with my student (RX8) so I figured it would be to much of a strech for it first outing. It ran really well and when I let my student go I layed back for a bit and then I got on it. Man what a rush compared to my 81 SC. HP and Power steering are great tools! I spent some time searching for the limits of the car but I also needed to be nice to the student on the track with me. I can't what to do some more tuning with the suspension but it is relly great out of the box. The only thing I really could see the car neeing is some fixed back seats to hold me better but I don't think I want to do that right now. But then we'll see after a full season. POST 2Original post

you will love the 996 on the track. you won't get the slip angle of the 81 SC but it will be just as much fun once you get the suspension set up.
