Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

17 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey guys, I'm cleaning the house, and getting rid of extra stuff laying around as I'm going to have a little one in a few months. I bought some bypass pipes from fabspeed last year for around $500. Let me know if anyone is interested, I'd like to get $350 for them, but I'll take the best offer I get. IMPORTANT. I only have the pipes, no hardware whatsoever!! When Brandywine took them off, all I got back was the pipes.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Here are some pics due to popular demand, just click them to enlarge.

POST 4Original post

oops. I thought they were (muffler) bypass pipes. You can withdraw my name from the interested list. Best of luck though with your sale.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Not a problem, and thank you.

POST 6Original post

are they cat bypass pipes? where are you located?

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yes, they are cat bypass pipes, and I'm 45 minutes outside of Philly in a little town called Honey Brook, deep in Amish Country.

POST 8Original post

I'm assuming there is a CEL. What differences did you notice with them?

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yes, there is a CEL. I can't give you an accurate review because I had muffler bypass pipes on at the same time, and took both sets off at the same time. All I can do is tell you that fabspeed claims 12 hp and 12 lbft. of torque gains, as well as shaving 25 pounds off your car. Sorry I couldn't be more of a help.

POST 10Original post

Must've been loud with cats and mufflers off eh? I had the muffler bypass pipes and read that the sound goes up like 5-6 db in addition to the cat bypass.

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Loud is an understatement. I did my best to try to sneak it around town, and it was just impossible, so after a week, I put the stock exhaust back on. Live and learn I guess.

POST 12Original post

Used to live in the suburbs in CT, sometimes would get a call to go out for a drink in a neighboring town, was IMPOSSIBLE to get back home in the wee hours without getting pulled over by a nightshift cop, sober of course, but annoying none the less.

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

When they pulled you over, did you get a citation? Anyway, that's a bum deal. Anytime I saw a cop sitting, I'd put the car in nuetral and just coast past to avoid any attention. It worked.

POST 14Original post

Didn't work with me since I was at 8000 rpm a few seconds before i saw him, not speeding though. Verbal warning.

POST 15 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Last call guys, how about $300? Any takers!? I'd hate to throw them out, but I have no use for them.

POST 16Original post

can you ship them for $250 to savannah ga? email me at [email removed] thanks holy crap i jus saw this thread is from 2007!!!!!! im sure they are looooong gone
