Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Bilstein says to use the C4 versions on the C4S, but reading through the threads here some folks question that logic and are running the Turbo versions.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Anyone running the Turbo versions of the PSS9\10's on their C4S? If so, can you comment on them?
Bilstein says to use the C4 versions on the C4S, but reading through the threads here some folks question that logic and are running the Turbo versions.
I'm looking to pick up something for a DD as well as an occasional AutoX or DE and the PSS9\10 get pretty good feedback from the folks on this and other boards as being a good all-around setup. It looks like there is one set of PSS9's available for a C4 fitment, while the equivalent PSS10 are about $900 more. Another option is to pick up a used set of Turbo PSS10's at about half the price.
What would you do?
I'm using Turbo PSS9s on my C4S. I've been using it for 2 years now.
Corner balanced, and I a semi-aggressive street offset.
What is your concern? longevity? suspension response?
I do not have stiffer rear sway bars so I have to set the fronts to 4 to 5 and rears to 1 to 2 to get the understeer out. I run like this everyday even at the street.
No problems so far and the car feels great wherever I take it.
Thanks for the information. Yes, the response was my concern. I'd presumed that the Turbo PSS9\10 would be specifically tailored for the weight/geometry of the Turbo and would end up not being right for the C4S.
BTW, do you have any issues with your lowered ride height? Any scraping etc?
like arnee, i run pss9s on my c4s and it works great.
scraping and rubbing isn't a direct result of the adjustable coilovers. certainly the lowered ride height makes clearance a bigger challenge, but even with an aerokit on my c4s, i rarely have any issues. just be mindful of your surroundings.
I have PSS10s on my '02 C4S. I did not realize that there was a difference between the Turbo and C4S parts, so I'm not sure which I have.
Had mine installed by Alex and his team at Sharkwerks. They're very knowledgeable and I'm sure he'd be willing to discuss the differences with you.
BTW - no affiliation with Sharkwerks, just a satisfied customer. I think they're a forum sponsor anyway.
