I know it isn't the greatest aesthetically but I found that I can use a tape adapter and still close the face plate with the wire sticking out connected to my ipod.

I have a 99/996 with the factory cassette player and a 6 disk changer under the bonnett. Is their a head unit that will work with the changer that has a USB plug in for a thumb drive? That looks factory? Blaupunkt if possible Thanks!

Kyle I have the Becker Aux-In kit on my 996CAB. Works great and was something like $25 shipped directly from Becker. Just plugs into the headphone jack on the iphone/ipod/etc.

Actually, the CD changer connects into the Aux-In slot. Just depends on what you want for an Aux-in input. You can choose one. People still use the CD changer?

Kyle You can plug in the aux audio cable mentioned above from Becker OR the 6 CD changer. NOT both at the same time. To do both you need a different head unit, not the factory Becker.
