I found a perfect condition used driver side tail light with the wiring harness and bought a new passanger side tail light lense (came without the harness).

Hello Fellow 996ers, I have a '99 996 cabriolet, Zenith blue with Metropole blue top and interior. Recently, after reading about everybodies disgust with the Pumpkin (amber) lights on these early 996s I decided to do a pumpkin-ectomy on the rear tail light lenses. I found a perfect condition used driver side tail light with the wiring harness and bought a new passanger side tail light lense (came without the harness). I put on the used tail light on the driver side and left the amber one on the passanger side to do a side by side comparison. To my suprise, I find that I prefer the amber tail lights on my blue car. Therefore; I am selling my set of clear tail lights, one new, the other used for $500. In the end, I figure that it'll cost me $250 (if I sell them for $500) to do this experiment that I'm sure that I could have done with photoshop but I need to see this stuff in person. Brendan
