Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Yep, it's actually a 993 bi-turbo engine, fitted into a custom built race chassis, topped off with a 1962 VW T1 shell.
Leading evidence: 'Install into a custom built race chassis, topped off' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Install into a custom built race chassis, topped off' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Speed differentials with the cars and bikes in such close proximity is insane.
here's a pretty good vid too...

I dunno - cool video, but doesn't seem like an especially good track driver to me... frustrates me to see his passing, his use of the throttle seems lazy and erratic, and his lines seem WAY off.
Just my $0.02. However, I'm glad you posted it, and I enjoyed watching it, if only as a critic!
+1... I am not saying I could do better, but I know this guy isn't that great. Low RPM's, poor apex, not pushing it into the corners and then on the brakes hard, hit it again...though the recovery was cool when it got a little loose.. Maybe that has happened before and he is just trying to learn where that point is before he pushes it too hard... too many of those could be costly and dangerous too!!
Still... fun to watch !!
Part of why we love it is because we "think" we could be doing that...(or better) right??
You know, I won't argue the merits of his driving, but what is damn impressive is the recovery and acceleration of that car even against the bikes, that's what impresses me so much...........imagine in the hands of a skilled driver!!

Check out the gallery of construction pictures, and the videos on the website - amazing!
That's a Manthey spec'd GT3, had the pleasure of being in the passenger seat for my first ever Ring lap. I have alot of respect for the driver, really good guy. That 'erratic' driving is hard on the brakes, trailing braking into the apex and hard on the throttle, just as been taught by cup-drivers on the Ring. He knows the lines well, also that weekend his LSD had gone causing him some problems. That wasn't his best lap of the day though, that happened whilst following the Viper round as it cleared the path...
Obviously!
The difference is that I know the limits to my driving ability and I know that I couldn't come close to the guy driving the GT3, even though he has some rough edges to his driving.
Tim, HAHA!! Won't be trading any time soon. Over all, I still LOVE the M!! Seeing that Gt3 just reminds me how Visceral Porsche is.
Porsche is like no other and I certainly miss owning one.
Oooh, check it out guys. Just found this!! Now this guy is nowhere "near" as balsy as the other driver. Still, good video. Check out 2:20
