Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.
Discussions that suspect a cause
1
0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suspected cause
That is probably the ONLY thing they have in common.
Leading evidence: 'only thing they have in common' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'only thing they have in common' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Reminds me a bit of the picture of the 20 917's, all built at the same time, and rolled out for one nice big family picture before being to delivered to create history.
The Porsche race shop also reminds me of my first trip to the factory in 1973 when 911's were still totally hand assembled by a couple guys at each station.
Hard to believe it has been fully 20 years since my last factory delivery. I guess I need a refresher trip once the new museum is finished. And a new delivery, again, would be nice. But then I would have to move down one on the forum list.
Just curious, those are all cup cars, right? Why doesn't the 2nd car from the left have a cup car wing?? Is it not a cup car? Isn't that a fuel receptacle in the front deck lid?
Depends on WHO the customer is. Might be the son of a Saudi Prince, looking for something to drive while in school. These cars are each specific to the buyer. They are all white. That is probably the ONLY thing they have in common. Even cars being built to specs for a specific series somewhere might have individual features spec's by the buyer.
This is a pic of the Porsche Cup car assembly factory. There is a wall shelf full of 997 cup car chassis third picture down. I have seen this on a show before.
