Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Where did you mount the Sat antenae? My wife had an aftermarket sat radio put in her car an the antenae sits on the paint. I would rather not have the magnetic antenae sit on the car but maybe inside. Anyone have any feedback. I talked with a guy at Good Guys and he had no solution.
I have XM routed throught the PCM II through an FM modulator. The antenna is hidden beneath the plastic piece just under the windshield wipers. Reception is great although you have to crank the volume on the PCM II when the top is down.
The sat antenna is mounted under the dash (invisibly) just like the OEM sat antenna for PCM I and II. Works well and you would never know it is there.
TD in DC
I have two different setup in my 911 and Boxster.
First, the antenna mounts easily under the wipers. If you open the plastic cover over the battery, you can see daylight to the side (under the wipers). It is hidden and works perfectly.
As far as what to do, a few options.
You can get a sat radio control unit (the little faceplate looking thing) or swap headunits. If you have a 2003-newer unit, you will need to run it through an FM modulator. If you have a 2002-older car, you can run it through the aux input that is used for the CD changer.
In my Boxster, I have a PCM1 (stock nav) unit with a sat radio face below it. It is a direct connect spliced on to the cd changer input. I have a toggle switch to control sat radio vs cd player.
On my 911, I also went with the Kenwood DDX7015 head unit. That controls my sat radio and music keg. I am installing it this weekend. I have a faceplate setup through a stock radio now.
On my Cayenne, it has the MOST fiber optic bus (2003+ cars) and so I went with the same sat radio faceplate, but had to do FM modulator.
See these threads for my pics.
