Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 1 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Saturday was spent changing the oil protection tubes. However, it only took three hours, which surprised me as I was planning for a longer time. Anyway, here are some pictures of the old tubes and as you can see two had crimped "O" rings. But the one that was leaking the worst did not. Go figure.

POST 2Original post

Good job! This is on my list to tackle, too. Did you take the mufflers off?

POST 5Original post

POST 6Original post

Nice work. Here were mine after 75k. Several were leaking badly, and I had one inner seal leaking as well. After I removed the cam cover two of them literally just "fell out" when I set the cam cover down. Look how flat the old one is compared with the new!

I just changed my spark plugs and every one of the spark plug tubes looked dry, shiny, and clean.
