Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I checked the distances from the center of the wheels to the front fender on the car and 'higher than 5 mm.
Leading evidence: 'Check distances' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check distances' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

I ran eibach springs on stock shocks and nothing was cut - work AOK

Suggestion
I dont think you want to cut it - the new spring rates should be stiffer and you dont want to change the max travel of the shock - most likely

For competitive racing and securing a podium place use both.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have a 996 3.6 x 51 with original shocks and springs h & r. I checked the distances from the center of the wheels to the front fender on the car and 'higher than 5 mm. I checked the assembly code and it 's all right, only the rubber cushion in front touches the top, that' there is no rush. cut 1-2 cm? Do you think it changes the front?
If I wanted to lower the car 1 cm cutting the springs?

Sounds like you want to lower your car by cutting the springs. I've heard of people doing this before, but on a 10 year old Honda Civic, not a Porsche. I wouldn't do it.
Do NOT cut the springs.
I don't understand most of your post, but if you cut the springs they will no longer seat properly on the strut collar or top mount (depending on which end you cut) and will likely be unsafe. Also, the process of cutting them will likely throw the spring rate out of spec, not to mention result in the bottoming out of your shocks & struts leading to $$$ repairs.
Do NOT cut your springs. Ever. On any car.
Sounds-reads like english is not primary with OP.
Won't PSS9 or MO30 ROW suspension lower the car?
https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...4-vs-pss9.html
So you have shorter springs and the rebound bumper is hitting? Would the car drop the 5mm when you remove the bumper?
Isn't the bumper progressive? Almost solid to hollow accordian? I think if the bumper is compressed enough to hold the car up then wrong bumper/shocks for the springs.
How much "extra" travel is there before the shock is bottomed out internally without the bumper there?
In other words if you cut the bumper what is the next stop when you hit a bump that fully compresses the suspension? If it is the shock you risk destroying the shock when the suspension bottoms out.

Those springs are progressive. You cut them and they will not work properly. The upper narrow part of the spring is the "stronger spring area". You'll risk the chance of bottoming out the springs.
The springs h&r 'progressive. Cut = New shocks in 6 months.
Ale-Superbike, DO NOT CUT.

ok how can lowering the front a little? An old craftsman in Italy experienced the rally heats up and bends, but I am not convinced, another cuts instead.

Yes, I know what you mean. That car has "air shocks" and can be raised/lowered on the fly. There was another pic with both the front and rear lowered. I think both bumpers were on, or very near, the ground.
