Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'Run w/o plates' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check !!!."' they have it in thier head that, "if they get in a wreck they get a check!!!."
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Actually it snows all over Germany and heavily in the Alps around Garmish-Partenkirchen which is a Winter ski resort near the Winter Olympic stadium in Innsbruck, Austria. A Porsche with good snow tires is a blast in the Alps.
Just had 4 snows mounted today on my ready for winter water pumper. It's raining outside now, and my Porsche is going for a ride tonight, hoping for snow.
Got an offer I couldn't refuse...paid for part of fixing CEL, airbag light and major maintenance. Everything is now good.
Besides, I needed better access to the back seats. After all, it is my DD utility vehicle. ;-)
Regardless of what vehicle you drive, the statistics are there are more accidents in bad weather, whether this is rain, ice or snow. IMO people target high end cars with their pos's. Many people consider their pos easily replicable and they are (just basic transportation).
Not to mention when people see a Porsche they see $$$, and I have had pedestrians actually look at me then turn their head and walk out in front of me!!!!
You can't live in fear, especially of your car.
Anyway, I've seen lots of Corolla and Civic and Elantra drivers who need their cars a lot more than I need my 911, and for whom the cost of replacing them would be a much bigger deal.
Naaaa you got it all wrong:
they have it in thier head that, "if they get in a wreck they get a check!!!."
If the Porsche gets in a wreck, it doent even matter if its my fault cause the carfax will haunt the resale price. I dont take the 996 out at rush hour or any other situation, (bad weather) cause of other people's carelessness (IMO).
I take the TDi which is worth more wrecked than on the road hahahahaha, and make sure its not my fault if i can help it.....
Sorry to hear that.
I guess the combination of living in a no-fault jurisdiction and being in a big city where Porsches aren't that rare makes a difference. We certainly have accident fraud here, but I don't know that fraudsters would pick an expensive car. Rich people are more likely to fight back. I worry about people's skills and their situational awareness, sure, but I never feel like a mark.
Aint no joke. It snows in July too in norther Bavaria or other parts.
It doesn't snow. It's called schnee or plural schneit
They have to act childish at the pump since they wont have a chance since you'll pull out much faster than them and they'd never be able to keep up.
A soon as they'd try racing against one I'm sure the actual facts would be imprinted in their brains forever.
I'd worry about having the car parked near where cars go out of control near stop signs when they apply the brakes. Happy crusing.
Nofault should be illegal but evidently the insurance companies paid for getting laws that screw everyone. Where else are you punished for a lame uninsuraed guy hitting you.
Send some snow down here.
+1
Lots of paranoia about these cars that are only worth $25-30k...I'd say that for at least half the people here at RL, their other cars are more valuable than the Porsche and it doesn't make sense to not drive it because of the threat of damage.
The day I'm too worried to drive one of my cars is the day it gets posted for sale. If we were talking about a rare Ferrari, extra caution would be warranted, but I'm not going to spend my life babysitting a car that is easily replaceable should it get damaged.
FWIW, there are few Porsches in Iowa and I've never felt that someone was targeting me. In fact, on the Interstates it seems like people give me more room.
