Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Welcome back!
If you don't mind me asking, why did you leave Rennlist and why did you feel that 6speedonline was a better place for you to be?
What changed your mind and brought you back here?
No problem. I have no issues of being honest. Rennlist we were a sponsor of first when I owned my 996C2 and we did AWESOME here. Then we also signed up for 6speed which has really helped us. You can even see our reoccuring ad in Panorama now on page 7. So Porsche is part of us.
The former owner of the forums, John I guess, was not friendly with me via phone and emails. Basically they had been sending an advertising bill to an address that was not ours for a year! He called me and assumed we were a degenerate for not paying. I had no idea about this. We have 20 people here and accounting department, they pay bills when they are received. I think I might have said a couple things back to him and he did not appreciate that either. And that was that.... No hard feelings to him, we both made mistakes. I am a better and older person and realize that it is much easier to be nice then to be mean.
Our reputation for quality customer service to MY Porsche customers is top notch and many can speak for it.
I wouldn't know - I don't visit 6speed - fact - I've never registered there or posted there - so it must be a "distant kind of love"??
Anyway - I just pinged I.B. about your sponsorship (yes - I still have your original post).. And since they swiped your card (not me!) - I'll either reset your post or PM you, OK?
Yea - after eleven years of running the site - that's EXACTLY how I am...!!!
JD
I did wonder why the sponsor tag was missing - I'm glad that John stepped in to clarify.
Not the answer I expected for your return, but it's still good to get an honest answer.
Welcome back - anything that benefits Rennlist and the community is a good thing.
Welcome back. Love your mods. Last year I had a Rinspeed front spoiler installed that I purchased from you. I've had a lot of complements about it. Hope to use your web site again.
Jay
OK, I was going to let the first one go, but this is the second example I've seen on the 996 forum this afternoon!

Here was the other example:
AWESOME EXHAUST FOR 996
Over the weekend, I attended and took video clip of this new exhaust syst. that will be introduce in a month or two...
This exhaust is a great compliment to guys that want more aggressive sound from their current stock or brand names that don't do much more. Also, for those love the sound of muffler by-pass but can't handle the decibal. This exhaust give you 25% less volume than by-pass. Also, this exhaust gains in both torque & HP. With by-pass you give up low-end torque. HP is minimal gain.

Hey Caf
thanks for the English lesson my friend. It seems that people like you never cease to educate the masses. I wish I had a dollar for every spelling error on this forum.
Take Care, Jay
Vivid, I absolutely love the K40 system. I love its range especially from the rear, and it gives enough warning depending on how fast you're going with the instant on. One of its best features is the Laser Defuser. I can remember getting hit on I-84 here in Ct one weekend and the gong went off and I quickly could see the trooper down the hill continuing to point the gun at me. But the K40 blocked the signal, at least momentarily, and he couldn't get a read on me until I passed him going 65mph. He just stared at me in disbelief and I drove by. What has to be remembered however is that there isn't a perfect system. There are many times that I have driven past a state trooper and the K40 doesn't go off because they don't have anything on. They're not police car finders. So you still have to drive defensively but at least I can drive with some confidence.
Jay
I drove a customers car with the K40 and found it to be much better then my Valentine. I think I will have one installed when I get the 997TT. Thanks for the feedback!
Softronic EC is a tempting tweak. Sound like it would be OK for a car still under warranty (not detectable)
Just one question--the site mentions that it is reversible if desired. How do you do this?
Thanks!
Really, simple. When you purchase the Softronic, we send you the OBDII flash cable. You simply download the software and follow the instructions here -
http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/p...?cID=10&pID=64
Once you load your file to the Softronic server, a modified file along with your stock file will be emailed back to you. At anytime, you can load your stock or modified file to your car with the OBDII flash cable.
