Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I'll have the dealer take look and replace when they do the windshield.

The windshield met a rock on one of the test drives, so the dealer is going to replace this for free.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I've just picked up my first Porsche. It's a 2003 966 C2 Coupe 6 speed. It's got approx. 23K miles, is a CPO car, and is in very god shape for a Colorado car. The previous owner installed the 3M clear bra on the hood and fender tips, so it has next to zero rock chips. The sport exhaust sounds evil. The windshield met a rock on one of the test drives, so the dealer is going to replace this for free. I also noticed that the right front tire looks like it took a screw in the sidewall and I'm concerned about a blowout. I'll have the dealer take look and replace when they do the windshield. Anyone know where I can get the correct coolant on a Sunday near Boulder, Colorado? I'm just below the min line. As soon as I figure out how to shrink one of the pics, I'll post one up
Congrats and welcome. Car sounds great - you'll love it. Agree that distilled H2O for a top off is fine, but when you do get coolant, get the German/Porsche pink stuff - don't throw Prestone in there!
I'm actually in Broomfield. No plates yet. Thanks for the welcome! Pics this evening. I'm going to grab some distilled water as suggested to top up, but pick up the correct stuff at the dealer after work tomorrow.
A-hah, a Newcie without pics!
Ahem! < Tim clears his theoat > Welcome to Rennlist and Congrats on gettting a nice looking -car! At least I think it is nice looking, but I can't be sure because there are not pics! Come on, Newbie, post the !@#$%^&* pics! Consider that your "Newbie Initiation!"
Damn, that felt goooooood!
Seriously, again welcome and congrats!
Yes, I enjoy my Newbie status. The photos from the dealer are sufficiently small enough to upload. Tomorrow I'll grind the dealer for the tire (s). Updates to follow
Good looking C2, partial to another black Porsche.Sounds like your dealer knows how to treat a new customer. Thanks for the exterior pics. Welcome to a great forum.
You can skip on getting coolant unless you need to replace a significant amount. Porsche coolant comes from the factory in a 60/40 coolant to water mix. This protects down to essentially arctic temps. Even if you add enough water to bring to mix to 50/50 the car is still protected down to -35 F. Your choice however.
Congrats on the car.
Nice car- good to see someone supporting the local economy. I am in the north side of town and will look for you! Tim - just saw the honda signature gave me a great laugh - They are pretty nice however.
