Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
If my car were still under warranty and I had a defect on one piece and it was replaced by a piece that did not match I would definately complain to the dealer.

this would probably drive me crazy as well) or buy all new pieces to replace the old ones and then sell the old ones on Ebay or something.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

when i bought my car used, it came with the carbon fibre interior. i noticed that one of the pieces had been replaced because it looked darker than all the other pieces. the new piece looked like it was black and gray while all the other original pieces looked to be brown and black. well about a week ago i had my steering wheel replaced because there was a crack in the carbon fibre. when they replaced it, the carbon fibre, obviously newer, had that black and gray look to it, which also clashes with the rest of the pieces in my car. my question is, were there 2 different types or carbon fibre made. in other words, did they upgrade or switch to a different type? or is what i am seeing is fading of the original carbon fibre. either way it looks like sh*t. to me anyway. am i being unreasonable to see if the dealer would switch out the rest of the pieces so that my car matches? my car is an 01 and is out of warranty in april. any input is appreciated.
This sounds like a question for the dealer. My car came with some carbon fiber pieces and I later added a few more. They all seem to match. Since your car is out of warranty it sounds like you have two choices - live with it (I know ... this would probably drive me crazy as well) or buy all new pieces to replace the old ones and then sell the old ones on Ebay or something. I can't think of any other alternatives.
Sorry. I didn't catch that the first time around. If my car were still under warranty and I had a defect on one piece and it was replaced by a piece that did not match I would definately complain to the dealer. Unless your other pieces are different due to fading from the sun, etc. - why should you accept a replacement that does not match the rest of the interior? I would definately take it up with your dealer and see if they have a solution. I'm not saying that it will work but they may have a solution OR maybe you are right and they did have two different suppliers and all they have to do is replace that new piece with the same piece from the other supplier. Bottom line? You won't know for sure if you don't ask. Good luck!
complain to ur dealer as much as you can and try to get them to swap them while u have the warenty. carbon fiber will be hella expensive to replace on ur own.
