Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

19 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Good episode--focus on Porsche racing--great cars--made me feel proud!!! Mike

POST 2Original post

I bought every one of the DVDs--the others are equally great, especially Ferrari, Alfa and Maserati. The sound track alone is worth the price of admission!

POST 3Original post

I missed half of it but it was cool to watch. I loved the shots of the P-D cars, the 959 is still my dream car (but I can't imagine ever owning one) and the C-GT footage/sound was awesome.

POST 4Original post

i have the older version of it on my computer but i have yet to see the new one. I've only seen upto the breif into of the boxter. the CAN-AM cars were tremendous...blindingly fast.

POST 5Original post

Yeah Can am cars are fun but Bucks to maintain,we have a McLaren m6b

POST 7Original post

It beats big blocks and almost set a couple of records at a few tracks actually, then again so has the sports 2k Tiga we have as well

POST 9Original post

Here you go The car is known probably as the most beautiful and correct m6b. It is rediculous to say the least 1200lbs maybe 1500 and 600hp from a small block. It hits about 200 at willow

POST 10Original post

are those cars still raced or are they consigned to the history books and vintage events?

POST 11Original post

Under VARA they campaign as well as the Historics etc.

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Also there was a twin turbo 6 or 8 4 liter??? that made 1000hp in 1500 lbs with roll over protection behind the driver--like at 200mph+ its gonna matter!!!!

POST 13Original post

Are you speaking of the Acclaimed sunnoco 101 black car? That thing is a monster and a half. I believe it has well over 1000hp-

POST 14Original post

^ that's nuts. running on gasoline....racing around corners for hrs. compared 2 a drag car that sometimes won't even make it to the end of a 1/4 mile.

POST 15Original post

I missed it. But I did watch VICTORY BY DESIGN.

POST 16Original post

There's one in every crowd... I watched it and liked it, but it was "rougher" than the others of the series; I've heard this was the first and after its success the production values improved. I wish they had focused more on the road cars, and some mention of the 4-cyl. and 8.cyl cars would have been nice. The Carrera GT footage was good - man, was that car stuck to the track or what? Amazing fast with incredible grip! Emanuel

POST 18Original post

Have the DVD here, its always an enjoyable viewing, the Ferrari one is also sweet.

POST 19Original post

That was a great show. I especially liked the story about the 904, mainly because I had never heard of it and it was gorgeous; reminds me of a Dino which I also love. Now with the Boxster Coupe (C7s) coming out, I see the lineage to the 904. Cool history on our cars
