This is not a probability of success.

I'll let Mooty tell you his own story, but I have noticed that he changes cars more frequently than most of us change our socks!

IIRC, he had his Cayman going so fast, he was running away from TT's and GT3's.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi guys. It's been quite a while since I've regularly been on the board. Merry Christmas!
I've been keeping a list for sources for the Euro GT3 seats. Now that I'm ready to get them, I seem to have lost the list. I still remember Gert and Carnewal, but their price of over 4 grand seems a bit excessive.
I have the OEM rollbar, the 6 point harness and associated hardware, now all I need are a pair of GT3 seats. Help!.

Palting whats up man long time...I am a hugh fan of OEM parts, however a friend just bought a set of the replica sets off ebay, $ 1600.00 for the pair and I gotta say they are really good. Just a thought.
Hi guys. Thanks for the welcome. Glad to be back. Been doing other things, so haven't had much time for the board of late.
Geez, mooty. Is that another Porsche you got?
No doubt, Tim. That looks like an RS. But, knowing mooty, he''s probably got that car modded closer to a street legal Cup car. IIRC, he had his Cayman going so fast, he was running away from TT's and GT3's.
Well, I got the seats. I have you all to thank/blame
.
Should be a weekend job getting the seats, harness, and roll bar all in. Then the looooong wait for March/April to try them out at DE.
Thanks again.
palting you will love GT3 seats. can't believe it took you so long to get them.
i had the RS since mid april and has about 15k miles on it. it's mostly stock. i do have a bunch of safety stuff in there, roll bar, seats, harness, fire ext.
mods: pagids, R888 and CCW wheels. that's it.
I think you're confusing me with Loren, the guru
.
As proof that I am not a guru, I offer my next question. The seats are here, and are mirror images of one another. One is for the driver, one is for the passenger. But which one?????? The seat adjuster handle can either be tunnel side, or door side of the seat depending on which position, driver/passenger, you position the seats. I presume the seat slider/adjuster handle should be on the door side?
LOL!!
Thanks, Dell. Saw the pic on another thread of how you mounted the lap belts. Great idea! I like that all that metal is away from you, and easier to tuck the belts away when driving on the street.
