Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

So the guy's solution was like yours: He decided to use the car as a platform to build a dream Porsche.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

So last month I am traveling on the interstate (I 287 ) to help set up for a fundraiser our local PCA club was holding. All traffic comes to a stop with the exception of the vehicle directly behind me. Hit me at about 20 mph which of course pushes me into the car in front of me. Rear bumper needs to be replaced along with some work to the front. I was able to drive the car from the scene and it seems to drive ok.
So trying to make the best of a bad situation, I am looking at putting an OEM Aero Kit on the car. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I know I need the second generation of the Aero Kit. Any help with part #'s, prices would be great.
First question, is the rear wing a bolt on replacement for the automatic spoiler? If it is, I seem to recall reading something about needing to do something with the wiring so that the spoiler warning light will not come on.
That's the spirit.
Last year, I saw a black 996 cab at the shop that does the work on my car. It was all but in pieces. Tech told me that the owner had been rear ended and pushed into the car in front of him. The insurance company wouldn't write the car off, though, and clearly it wasn't going to be worth as much repaired as if it was a pristeen, stock cabriolet. So the guy's solution was like yours: He decided to use the car as a platform to build a dream Porsche. Screw it, he figured, if it's not original it may as well be wicked. It was gorgeous when it was done... supercharged, exhaust with bypass, wheels, suspension, the list went on. Nothing compromised. I loved that attitude.
GL with the mods.
I have been secretly hoping something like that would happen to me, but in a very gentle way. Maybe someone would back up into me in a parking lot. Insurance could subsidize my upgrade!
Bruce and deckman....thanks for the input. Yea I moped for a day, then it was on with life....lol. Car is really not damaged that badly but does need work on the front and rear so I figured why not....
