Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I skimmed the Carrera manual and it has tire pressures for the C2 and C4 with 18" but I didn't see anything for the C4S. Since the C4S is lighter than the 996TT, I wonder what tire pressures to use? FYI, my car came with Continentals. Other brands would have been preferred but since I got the car about 6 months sooner than I expected (someone backed out of their order) I surely am not complaining.

POST 2Original post

POST 3Original post

jim- you should have gotten a small supplemental owner's manual with your c4s. has info specific to our cars. if you don't have it ask for it! isn't this a great car? <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />

POST 4Original post

The C4S Supplement owner's manual lists recommended pressures as 36/44 (F/R). For "routine" driving I've been experimenting with 34/42 which gives a slightly "softer" ride on the P-Zeros. What a GREAT car!

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
