Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

17 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all, Anyone know if wheels off a 2003 AMG E55 would fit on a 996 c4? I know the wheels are 19s and the offsets are around 30. Has anyone done this? (would the bolt pattern work?)

POST 2Original post

No. The diameter of the bolt circle is different; Porsche use 130mm while AMG use 112mm.

POST 4Original post

+1 But let me add "For the love of God, why?"

POST 5Original post

Porsche wheels are staggered, not sure if MB is.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

oh they are aftermarkets and they guy is going to give them to me for free....how much do you think i can sell them for???

POST 7Original post

Quotes source post: 4955668

you can sell them to me for $20.00

POST 8Original post

Quotes source post: 4955668

Can't you get a better answer to that question by trolling around Ebay or a Mercedes / AMG site than coming here???

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

they were asking why i had a site of these amg wheels.... it was just a question, why so hostile? how about this, Does PORSCHE CAYMAN S wheels fit a 996 C4?

POST 11Original post

Quotes source post: 4955871

I don't think they're hostile. They just like to use common sense. You can do a search on cayman offsets if they'll fit a C4.

POST 12Original post

Quotes source post: 4955871

I wasn't trying to be hostile; just honestly trying to save you some time in getting a quick answer to your question about wheels that have absolutely nothing at all to do with Porsche...much less a 996. I'll also point out that I answered the question posed in your OP in my #2. So maybe a "thank you" would have been a more appropriate response. Or not.

POST 13Original post

What I think is typical is that many persons in forums like this - only like orginal parts and messurements. I think it is allowed to go further than this :-) Go and follow your dream !

POST 14 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

ok, here is my thank you. everyone happy now? geez, no need to get upset on something so small...

POST 15Original post

Bah, no one is upset it's just the way we play around here... it's all good
