Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello friends, Suddenly I have found my brakes squeaking/whistling when I come to a stop. It doesn't appear to be happening consistently with each brake so it is a bit difficult to pinpoint. One things certain it has been extremely hot these past weeks. Also, when I depress the button to put the top back up the rear passenger window trips and will not go up in sequence with the other windows. Looks like a trip to the dealer. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks Gary 04 C2 cab

POST 2Original post

No. Go use your brakes like you need them. Seriously. Get up to as fast as you can safely go, and then threshold brake down to 30 (obviously you can't do this around other traffic). Repeat about 8-10 times. That should knock off the glaze that most likely has developed on your pads due to gingerly use of your brakes. The window? Wait until you have a serious problem and then take it to the dealer and have fixed.

POST 3Original post

I've got a similar problem. Just put on a brand new set of OEM pagids on the rear and they SCREAM!!!
