Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

16 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 3Original post

I hate to say it, but if I had never seen a Boxter or a GT before, I kind of like the body style. The huge rollover bars behid the seat are not to my liking and it doesn't look good with the hard top on. Of course, the puke orange color is not at the top of my list either. Other than that, it has potential as far as body style goes. The Boxter interior is way to small for me though.

POST 6Original post

Wow - the Porsche version of the Ferrari Testarossa built on the Pontiac Fiero. The concept hasn't improved at all. Plus, that Boxster looks like it has about 80,000 miles on it - look at that interior. They should have used a Camaro.

POST 7Original post

Even the color is distasteful. At least change the seats, the base seats are a total give away.

POST 8Original post

wait until some dude buys one in your "hood", then stares you down at the corner. Get used to it, they are going to sell the heck out of those.............17k boxter+15k kit=cool ride, low cost. We could use that orange to melt some snow around here!

POST 11Original post

Drop a 3.8 in that sucker and it "just" might pass for the Boxster conversion that was in the last issue of Excellence (RUFmaybe)??? Just playing, that is just horrific. It just pains me to see a Porsche, and Porsche, get bastardized like that.

POST 13Original post

"In any situation, when you pull up to a stop light, club, a grocery store, a gas station, a restaurant...you will be the center of attention." Damn straight, Sally! Holy Frankenstein! A Boxster platform with Ruf Spyder orange and a hint of Lexus SC in the rear... with removable (terrific) fiberglass rollover hoops. Great. Gotta give the guys credit for "trying".
