His doctors are estimating he'll get ~80% use back, but just not sure what functions will be missing...

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Well, my daughter has outgrown the back seat so it's time to sell. Car is in very good shape. Many factory options plus clear bra, window tint, and clear markers. 93,000 miles $20,000 Details here: https://rennlist.com/forums/vehicle-marketplace-old/727378-01-996-silver-black-well-optioned-very-clean.html Thanks for looking.

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

New year bump. Car is still for sale. A co-worked wanted to buy the car before the holidays, but needed a couple days to liquidate some investments to free up cash. During this time, he fell down some steps and shattered his right arm. He'll be unable to shift for several months and had to back out of the deal.

POST 3Original post

did you confirm his arm is broken? sounds fishy

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've worked closely with him for a couple years, and yes, it's severly broken. He's been thru 1 surgery to isntall plates & screws and still has 2 to go to repair nerve damage. He said he still wants to buy the car (if it's available) when his arm heals. I hope to trade the car for a used BMW this weekend if the deal works out.

POST 5Original post

There isn't much they can do with nerve damage. Only time will heal it to a point. BTDT but mine was rather minor in my right arm. His rowing gear days might be over.

Quite possibly. His doctors are estimating he'll get ~80% use back, but just not sure what functions will be missing...
