0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

Suspected cause

Most likely the error came because of the flat battery not because there is something wrong with the airbag circuit.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm using a Momo GT3 style steering wheel, and I used a resistor to avoid getting the airbag light. I drove the car for about a year, and never got the airbag light. Recently my car sat at the shop without being driven for some time, and the battery went flat. When the car was finally started up, the airbag light came on. I checked the resistor, and it's still in place, just as before. What gives?

POST 3Original post

Most likely the error came because of the flat battery not because there is something wrong with the airbag circuit.
