2004 C2 Cab; ~150,000 miles, all original suspension. Replaced fronts last week (strut, tie rods, control arms) with Koni Special Active. Rears are on deck, but not entirely clear to me what *needs* to be replaced. Obviously shock assembly is being replaced. Obviously (I guess) springs are not being replaced. Running from the top: Hex Nut: 999 084 445 01 (Y - included with shock) Concave Washer: 996 333 107 00 (N - re-use old) Strut Mounts: 996 333 059 03 (Y) Coil Spring Spacer: 996 333 511 03 (N unless broken) Coil Spring Retainer: 997 333 504 00 (?) Concave Washer: 996 333 107 00 (N - re-use old) Bump Stop Washer: 999 025 240 02 (N - re-use old) Bump Stop: 996 333 105 02 (Y - fronts were demolished) Spring: (N - re-use old) Bellows: (N - re-used old unless damaged) Does that sound right?

Going through this same process with my 03. Visually, anything with a rubber bushing on the suspension appears past its service life on mine (i.e. cracked, hard rubber). If you're doing control arms, may make sense to replace other stress points. I do have a press, but haven't found a lot of threads on bushing replacement only. I've been sitting on this combo from FCP for a week trying to talk myself out of the necessity.

I'm doing control arms, drop links, and sway bar bushings too - I have the Meyle control arm kit in my FCP Euro cart The front end was completely shot and I expect rear to be the same.
