Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

After nine glorious years in Denver, I'm being relocated to Houston TX. I'm not overly thrilled, however, having lived in Houston for 10+ years, I know what to expect.
My '01 996 C4Cab is coming along. Are there any comments regarding maintenance / precautions I'll need to make coming from 5280 ft / 10% humidity to 10 ft / 99.9% humidity? I'm figuring that the hardtop will either be on or off most of the time; depends on how much heat and humidity gets through the soft top (mold issues?).
I'd appreciate advice from those who've done it before or are currently in the hot & humid parts of the world.
Respectfully, Sam T.
The best thing about Houston is being close to Texas World Speedway. So join us at our JUNE DE at TWS. I drove my '00 Cab in Houston almost every day with the top down. 996's come with GREAT a/c. I did install a one touch for the top in order to handle those instant Houston rain storms. I never considered a hardtop, GO TOP DOWN!
Good luck on the move, BB!
I think the weather in Houston is pretty similar to Pensacola. By August/September, we are pretty sick of the heat and humidity and looking forward to fall.
Thanks for the good words. A/C is working fine (for CO). Time will tell. Hope that my good friends at Prestige Imports - Denver have taken care of all the necessary charges. I have the Smarttop installed so am prep'd for the quick up time on the cab. Funny, the other day in Denver it looked like rain and I told the wife, hey, in Houston you can't see weather coming 4 hours in advance like Denver. It's a waterproof car afterall...
Dallas is a short drive from the woodlands, so I'll be able to keep up with events in town and Dallas - Austin - San Antone. Also, want to do a trial at the TX mile in the near future.
I had a greatttt photo shoot last weekend (photos can't be posted - after what's happened to Down South censorship). We have one final shoot at the body shop in a couple weeks in Denver - hot hot model Kayla.... 21 yrs young, 100% natural, no discernible piercings (I've gone over the photos and can't see any unnatural cavititations). May have to review one more time to be sure. All set for photog groups in Houston - PB & PH models... but I digress.
All said, may divest my Hardtop after all. No sense in bringing it south with me.
