Gents - I canceled my order on my 09 GT3, Not that it is not an Awesome car, but I have been driving P-Cars for over 21 years and decided to try something a little different. I just returned from a business/vaca trip in Spain, my brother lives there with his many female companions, during my time there I drove his 07 Lambo Gallardo, after driving this awesome machine daily for a week, I was bitten by this Italian beauty. I search endlessly to locate one for me back in the state, I finally located a
08 LP560-4
in White/Black that someone ordered in NYC and canceled the order at the last minute. Needless to say I jumped at the offer, I was able to get it for a great price in a 6 spd tranny - I will be taking delivery of this Gem on the 11th of October. I will always be a faithful Porsche enthusiast, I am still keeping my 01 996 C2 Aero as my daily Driver to my office in NYC and my son's 03 Targa is available for me also. I have always wanted a Lambo after my first experience with them over 10 years ago, the Gallardo is such a special car, the design is almost simple, the interior is all Audi with an Italian touch of sex appeal, I plan on driving this beauty as much as possible as I do all my cars, no garage queen here, not this middle age manic ! I look forward to the next gathering whereby I will bring all three cars to share with you all(wife and son driving the others). I wanted to share the news with you, Hope all is well with you all.

I always thought that Lambos were not the best driver cars, but the new Gallardo has gotten some great reviews. Congrats on the purchase. As others have said, make sure you follow-up with some driving impressions after you've put some miles on.
I've always had a soft spot for white Lambos! Call it Radar Love. You'll like the LP, and it's under warranty so enjoy the hell out if it!

you sound very bitter. Although there was SOME fraudulent activity, wall street CEOs were simply doing what every other CEO was doing, attempting to create the most shareholder value. While the structured product markets were cooking, no one said a word about it, but when the market freezes it up, all of sudden everything is a scam.

Congratulations! Good chooice! Porsches made too many cars and are no longer exclusive. You will love the Lambo, it is super reliable and can be used as a regular everyday car. Compare to the old troublesome lambos in the 80s it is a completely different animal. I go on many drives with lambo owners, the car is a total blast and sounds absolutely amazing!
Here are some pics from our last drive, actually you guys will see all 10 of these cars again around Jan, 2009 on a TV reality show. My spider and 9 other cars were used for the TV show recently. 5 CHP patrol cars were used to block off traffic while a hellicopter was filming us driving through PCH ad Hollywood.

Very nice choice!! Lambos have always been my favorite car period so owning one in the future is on my list for sure.
