In an effort to save some money, I did NOT install the tips that came with it and rather used the clips from Fabspeed and my stock tips - however, now my left tip is lower (or further away from the bumper) than my right tip.

After inspecting the Fabspeed tips I noticed that the left "pipe" that bolts on to the muffler is a bit shorter, at least in apprearance, than the right one from Fabspeed.

Also, I was interested in ordering the dual, "s" look for my exhaust tip option but am affraid that they might not line up as my factory tips do not line up...am I stuck using the Fabspeed tips?

I recently installed a Fabspeed exhaust - just the mufflers. In an effort to save some money, I did NOT install the tips that came with it and rather used the clips from Fabspeed and my stock tips - however, now my left tip is lower (or further away from the bumper) than my right tip. This bugs the crap out of me. After inspecting the Fabspeed tips I noticed that the left "pipe" that bolts on to the muffler is a bit shorter, at least in apprearance, than the right one from Fabspeed. Will I have to use these because the Fabspeed mufflers are a bit different than stock as far as lining up? Also, I was interested in ordering the dual, "s" look for my exhaust tip option but am affraid that they might not line up as my factory tips do not line up...am I stuck using the Fabspeed tips? there is also alot of play in the 3 bolt area (that holds the bracket to the frame)...

keep things very slightly loose until fitup is perfect, from cats to muffler and tips, then when all is good , lock em down E

Loosen the clamp at the muffler and rotate it. I had the same issue when I modded mine.
