All the door plugs are the same size, and fit the 996/986 and newer models, but leave about 1/16" gap around the cap for room to pop it off if you need to use the key.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I'm sure many of you already are aware of how great Eric and bumperplugs.com are to deal with, but I just wanted to help spread the word. I recently ordered quite a few things from bumperplugs.com. They were shipped quickly and came with excellent instructions. There was one item missing from my shipment. I emailed Eric late at night and he responded right away and had a new shipment out to me ASAP. He is quite a pleasure to deal with and I highly recommend bumperplugs.com to anyone.

Riad, does your door plug cover the entire key hole opening on your car? I ordered a door plug from bumperplugs.com awhile ago and finally installed it last week but the plug does not fit too well. It does not cover the entire key hole opening on my car(2000 C2), so there is a gap between the plug and the cars paint which doesn't look too good.
On their web site it shows the door plug covering the entire key hole opening and it states that the plug is designed for late model P-Cars.
That's very strange, maybe the key hole opening on my 2000 C2 is larger than on the newer cars. I wish I would have known this before ordering it though.
DC...email me with any questions. All the door plugs are the same size, and fit the 996/986 and newer models, but leave about 1/16" gap around the cap for room to pop it off if you need to use the key.

And if you are unhappy with it, we can take it back for a refund.
Eric definitely understands what customer service really means - I bought a B&M Short Shifter (which I love) and the EVO Shift link (which I decided not to install). Eric asked that I check the condition of the factory one when doing the install, and if it looked OK, then I could return the shift link. He took it back without question and made sure to ask how I liked the shifter.
It's really hard to find honest-to-goodness retailers/vendors that actually DO care about your satisfaction - but Eric fits the description to a tee - thanks Eric!
