I did a search and found that others are using a DICE for the iPod.

I sent an email to DICE asking about a solution to install Sat and iPod in my 04 and the response was....."Hello Mike,
Unfortunately, the 996 is not supported with our Porsche iPod integration kit. Only the newer 997 is supported in that body style. Let me know if you have any further questions".
I did a search and found that others are using a DICE for the iPod. Did you mod you DICE kit to make it work?
We are the primary US distributors for Dension, not Dice (crap). The Dension unit will handle your Sat radio as well.

you can get the becker aux cable kit for a few bucks, it replaces the cd changer cable in the back of the unit and allows you to plug in whatever you want, I use it for Sirius
i got mine right from becker:

and it came with the tools to pull out the head unit
The Gateway 500 Dension unit is for FIBER OPTIC MOST bus vehicles.
Porsche began using MOST bus in '03. So yes, that's what it's designed for, along with Audi, MB, BMW and Saab as well.
