Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I really should have to pay to have so much fun! Just changed out fuel filter, all new coil packs and all new spark plug tubes and O-rings. Spark plugs were changed a couple days ago. I can't tell you how easy and satisfying this was. Went to the local boat dealer and picked up 2 1" transom plugs at 3.45 a pop and man they worked like a charm.

POST 2Original post

sounds like a good day to me... i should do the same soon

Good for you.On my list to do soon. Have had a new fuel filter sitting in my office for months. Coming up on 60k miles, so plugs, tubes and o rings need to be changed. Did you remove your mufflers for the plug change?

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

When i changes the plugs the other day i took everything off, bumper, muffler heat shields and mufflers. This time i just took the mufflers off. Just came back from a nice little drive after the work and man does this car running silky smooth with gobs of power...................the luv affair intensifies

POST 6Original post

With tbanasiak's improved performance, I've always wondered if coil packs "deteriorated" over time / mileage as apposed to failure and mistracking when the coil insulation actually breaks down. I realise the coilpack is only a voltage transformer (12v DC in, ~25,000v DC out), but has anyone seen any evidence of lower output voltage due to just ageing??

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
