The F150 stays on the driveway, wipers lasts less than a year, I use Michelin Hi-Performance from Walmart.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Went to Advance Auto to get a new pair of wipers. I like the Rainex brand since they are about 11 bucks apiece and they work great. Anyway there were Bosch on the car, but I got the Rainex's - they don't fit right . The little curved plastic piece slides correctly into the receiver on the wiper arm but it won't stay 'fast' because the little locking tab doesn't line up with the rectangular hole in the wiper arm receiver. You can actually slide it around. Bummer. I had one spare 22" Bosch in the garage so I did the drivers side. What do folks use for wipers??? I know - use Rainex and drive fast
My wipers for the Porsche and previous cars last for years as the cars are garaged.

Gotta have RainX though, can't get wet without it! I absolutely hate wipers, distracting and annoying things swiping in front of me when I'm driving?? I'd be better off with a dangling fuzzy dice!
If you're frugal like me, just replace the wiper refill (not the whole arm) with one from a 2004 Acura RL they're about $5.00 each. It's a little tricky to replace but works well.
I have to be honest. I never thought there was a difference in quality between wiper blades until I tried PIAA. Those PIAAs are very good even if they're very expensive. No chatter ever and they last longer than other brands. I've tried Michelin, ANCO, Trico, Bosch and RainX brands. Bosch was by far, the biggest disappointment because of their cost. But none were really all that good.
Living in Seattle, you learn quickly what the difference between a good and bad wiper blade is.
Oh no.... we don't need no stinkin' refills.
Check out these Bosch bracketless.
They look so clean, just belong on the 996.

So getting back to your recommendation then, are you suggesting that PIAA aren't that good either, then? I've always used Bosch. I think they are relatively mediocre and begin to streak after a while.
I have had these for a year. Still great, and they work really well when going spoiler-up speeds! The passenger one is a little too straight for the highly curved windshield, but it still works fine.
Yeah, I notice the Porsche wiper on the passenger side is curved. How badly does a normal straight blade stick out?
I have used Icons in the past and they are great. On this car you'll want the "A" suffix for the drivers side and the "B" suffix for the passenger side.

Without a doubt, if you've never had a 911, the lack of contact is disturbing. Of course, it's still better contact than any OE wiper has ever had on a 911. Watch that blind spot!
I agree. It would drive me positively batty. The 3 inches of the passenger side wiper that isn't in contact with the glass would probably cause the car to veer slightly to the right. I'm guessing it has an Aero Kit like effect, or at a bare minimum, the front spoiler lip. Indeed, I'll rank this right up there with the orange cap mod.
I just got a pair of Bosch ICON's at Advance Auto. They said that the 422A were for the drivers side and the 4522B are for the passenger side. The ARE cool looking in the box - will install them in a couple days and post photos - if they fit

AKA - he liked them
Seattle = never rains, so I dont have wipers on the car... just added weight
Had to go into work for a while tonight. Poured down the rain on the way home - 25 mile drive with high speed interstate, 4-lane highways with stoplights, ramps, residential - the works. Anyway - the new wipers work terrific - the best I have ever used. The 'look' correct on the car too. Quiet, smooth and no streaks - unbelieveable.
On top of that - the C4 Tip with my new Sprint Booster is fantastic in the rain!. Awesome revs only when you want them - shifts perfect - love it. The a/c works perfect, the car is quiet, powerful and well poised (well, somewhat quiet:^) and drama-less to drive in the rain. Kind of makes me want to forget about the engine issues on these things.

does the passenger side wiper lay flat ?
I use these, they last forever, and work great. I'm never on my passenger side, so I don't care about the small space between the edge of the wiper and the windshield.
The final 1.5" on the passenger side is approx. 1/8th inch off the glass. You cannot see this unless you are LOOKING for it. Bottom line is that the wipers work great. Amazing how folks put up with 3 thousand dollar suspension mods that result in rattles & squeaks shocks that come apart or sway bar links that detach themselves or break and worse just to get some sort of holy grail firmer ride & most of those folks don't even track their cars. These are great $25 dollar wipers.

I've been using the PIAA silicone wipers on both family cars for years and they're great! They leave a light coating on the windshield so you get that Rain-X effect. Plus they last a long time. The first time I used them, I couldn't how much better they were than the (admittedly worn) stock wipers.
