Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The one i paid for the ppi and all the smog, was sold to another guy last minute. ideally a 996 or 997 with RMS IMS issues sorted. low milage, silver or black with black leather. will go to 40K, cash. Thanks!

POST 2Original post

FWIW - When I was shopping for a C4S back in '06 I found most California cars to be higher mileage and higher price than out-of-state cars. Maybe things have changed with the economy, but that was my experience. I ended up buying a car off E-bay that was in the Chicago area.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

i know what you mean. i have seen a lot of 75K 4 year old cars, the commutes here are tragic. but i am also finding some with only 30-33k miles, and extended warranties. the consistent issue i am finding is the IMS and RMS issues, and new engines, pretty much across the board for 996s from 99-04. prices are all over the map, 33-49K. worried about buying a car without driving it ala Ebay, but considering it.

POST 4Original post

I have a really nice '03 Coupe for sale with tons of good options. X51, sport seats, M030, Bose etc etc Not sure how important the cab is but figured I'd let you know. :-)
