Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello,
First, this is a great forum. I appreciate all of the knowledge available here.
Is there a list of recommended shops for PPI and service?
The following will be my not so breif introduction, I am still giddy about all this!
My name is Chris, I have wanted a 911 since before I could drive (20+ years). When I was younger I said I would own one by 25. I didn't quite make it, 11 years later I did finally pull the trigger.
About my 911;

It has 38K miles. The car was serviced regularly but only the initial service was stamped. I also know the car was in a crash 2001 (I think). The crash was not signifcant, I would have never known but it does show up on carfax. A local body shop could not even tell it had been in a crash.
I believe the reported crash to be somewhat of a value detractor, but how much?
I also believe the service not being stamped also has some impact on value? but how much?
My opinion and others I have had look at the car (no Porshe people) conclude the car is in excellent condition; There are no Porsche experts locally (Rochester, MN) that I am aware that could perform a proper PPI.
The paint is near perfect (a couple chips and minor scratches).
Everything seems to work.
The car is very strong and does not leak any fluids.
There are a couple of interior rattles/squeaks plus a couple of minor interior cosmetic items (very minor and I think common).
Otherwise no issues.
The car has a 30 day / 3K mile warranty.
I plan to have an Post Purchase inspection done at a dealer soon (within a week).

Welcome to the Porsche fold! I'm not aware of anyone in the Rochester area to do a PPI. I'd suggest AutoEdge in St. Paul. They work on lot of our cars and can take good care of you.
Be sure you join the Nord Stern Region.

We are a very active region and have a bunch of members in Rochester.
