Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

32 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I just installed my rear wiper delete plug. Gave me at least another 30HP. I can really feel it. Throttle response is so much better. Must be the increased laminar airflow into the intake without the wiper causing air turbulence. Thanks Eric for another performance boosting mod.

POST 2Original post

Damn! I hurried in here to see what this great cheap mod was! April Fool, huh?

POST 3Original post

Personally, I was expecting this to be spam when i opened it and can say that I got a laugh out of it. Very Clever.

POST 4Original post

When you jump on the gas, everything gets a blue tint, eh? Jeff

POST 5Original post

I don't have a rear window wiper, if I drilled a hole on the rear deck lid and put a wiper plug in it, do you think I would get 30+ more HP too?

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Tim, Only if you use Eric's plug. Hours of wind tunnel testing have perfected the laminar flow if air into the intake.

POST 7Original post

I almost sh-t. That was an awesome post/ I'm still cracking up. !!!!!!!!!! Kudo's

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

As requested. Lucky my Dyno shop was open on April 1st.

POST 10Original post

you can't argue with the proof on paper...I am ordering mine tomorrow!

POST 13Original post

I am guessing then I can gain at least 10hp going from my hardtop back to my soft top???? Has anyone tried this mod yet???? Will I get my horsepower with the top up or down???? Thanks in advance!

POST 15Original post

My only concern is that the additional 30 HP will be from the left bank of the engine, thereby causing an imbalance in power output. I have decided to drill an extra hole on the right side of the rear deck lid and add another wiper plug there too. Then I'll be up to 380 "balanced" HP, just 1 HP shy of the X-51 package, but at a cost of only $59.90. Eric - please make sure you send me a RIGHT SIDE wiper plug, since I already have the left side plug.

POST 16Original post

Are those dyno charts for the wiper delete only, or do they include the bumper and door lock plugs???

POST 17Original post

Very sweet looking, compared to the horrible 944 wiper delete plugs, which go through the glass and look terrible!

POST 18Original post

You make me laugh! I had my credit card out! Dammmmnnnnn no wiper to delete........... I could always get new bumperrettes.

POST 23Original post

haha, loved the Dyno graphs. Great color on your car Jerler!

POST 24Original post

BTW, is that from a mustang dyno or dynojet? There's a difference in reading, ya know.

POST 25 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Matt! Dynojet is all I have available around here

POST 26Original post

We don't need it anyway, PAG made our cars perfect in every way, there is no room for improvement.

POST 27Original post

You guys didn't order option code CAB WIPR? It is part #996-555-879-01 and a bargan at only $325!

POST 28Original post

I think the one with the expandable shaftis better. I think the part number is 996-555-879-01-viagra.

POST 31Original post

Make sure you get a righ-hand-THREADED plug, otherwise you'll get asymmetrical airflow, and more power on left hand bends than right hand.
