Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I ran yellow/orange last season after using Hawk HT10's.

Those that run RS19's F&R and those that run the RS19 F and the RS14 Rear.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

RS19 (yellow's) with Castrol SRF fluid and R-Comps. My street tires could not keep up with the braking power. I'll probably try the PFC's next when my Pagid's are done. Do a search over on the GT3 forum and you will have plenty of reading on the RS19's and why they are so great.
I use Orange. No performance or fade problems at VIR, and I've had plenty of problems with stock pads and Hawks. They're also gentle enough and work well enough cold for a little street use (to and from track) and not too noisy. They don't wear very fast either. If not bedded properly they can get a little crumbly, but I don't see a reason personally to go to anything more aggressive yet.
Edit: that's with Cups.
I'm a big believer in adding a little brake bias to the back of a stock 996s so I would run either a orange front/black back combo or do something similar with blacks and greys.
I ran yellow/orange last season after using Hawk HT10's. I didn't feel that they had a good initial bit and the orange rear didn't last very long. Probably got 2x days with the yellow.
The hawk pads had great bite. You knew when you hit the brakes.

Better, but still unbelievable. You must be REALLY hard on your brakes and run a track that is hard on brakes period.
I guess the better question is if you are only making it 4 events, what pad life are you changing at? If you are changing at 1/2 the pad left after 4 events then that is different than if you change it when you are well over 3/4 of the pad used up.
The combo I had been thinking of was what Dell recommended:
RS19 (yellow's) with Castrol SRF fluid and R-Comps.
But Jim B has an interesting concept:

Anyone else out there "mixing" pads?
Most definitely. There are mainly 2 camps (wrt the Pagid) in the GT3 forum about pads. Those that run RS19's F&R and those that run the RS19 F and the RS14 Rear.
