Tirerack.com has Blizzak LM 22 205 50 17 front and 255 40 17 rear for a C4S. Thoughts appreciated.

I suppose those could work. In this article, Porsche recommends 225/40/18 and 265/35/18 for the C4S. I am about to order a set on the 18x8 and 18x10 Turbo look wheels from Wheel Enhancement. http://www2.us.porsche.com/english/u...lack_white.htm

FWIW, the Tire Rack carries the Dunlop Wintersport M2s in the 18" size listed above. I just picked up a set for my C2, and we've been running them on my wife's S4 for a year now. They are "approved" by Porsche, whereas I don't believe the Blizzaks are. They are one of the few winter tires I've driven that are reasonally good on dry roads.

So on Tirerack there are Dunlop SP Winter M2 and M3. Porsche recommends M2, but based on the comparison the M3 is a better tire....anyone know about that? Is it better to just stick with what P recommends?
