Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

Suggestion
So 45mph over the posted limit is okay, but you draw the line at running red lights?
Leading evidence: 'Run red lights' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Run red lights' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

You are an idiot! Going thru the red light with opposing traffic is beyond moronic. Having owned the same car you were driving I understand your frustration at not being able to pull on my car, but that doesnt excuse your actions. You give the other Porsche owners a bad rep.
Park your car fool. I see you again and I'll turn ya in!
BTW - love the new 997 pics in Evo mag. Even the new Box looks nice.
Dman - '02 540
You failed to see that I own a Porsche too...nice way to treat a fellow owner. My point was in protecting OUR image. Thanks for your attention to detail.
BTW - the 911 couldnt walk away from a BMW 540. Thought that was nice to see. I know my C4 was a bit heavy and needed the '02 bump in power.
Looking forward to a TT.
It doesnt say faster above...rearead!
60-100mph both even, 911 couldnt pull. We shut down there. Off line 911 wins, and at top 911 wins. No big deal.
Read though!
Dustman,
You seem a little sensitive here!
First you jump on someone for not realizing you're a Porsche owner, yet in your original post, you said you "owned" a Porsche--I consider that past tense in the English language.
Then you jump on someone else for saying you called the 540i faster than a 996 (albeit a pre-'02). Well I agree you didn't say that, but you didn't say anything originally about the 996 being faster EXCEPT from 60-100 mph. That's cool, but to jump on people for not "reading" your somewhat ambiguous posts seems quite hypocritical.
It never ceases to amaze me that simple tasks like reading and synthesizing info is so challenging for some people. As someone said, with $ you can get a Porsche. But the education and smarts "aint free".
Enjoy.
While I agree that the driver's actions were not very smart, how is posting that here going to do anything? What makes you think that driver will see it? Heck, at first I didn't even know what PCH was. I assume it is probably Pacific Coast Highway. But that's 3000K miles from here!
Well this is a disappointing thread... but I can see where the following joke could come from..
"What is the difference between a cactus and a porsche?
...with the porsche, the ***** is on the inside"
...a little Self-Deprecating humor from a fellow porsche owner...
