I'm soon to be participating in a DE event at LRP, and would appreciate some advice on what type of number decals to use and where to get them. Don't want to damage the car's finish, and want to be able to re-use the numbers for future events. Thanks.

I have been through this before. I recommend against magnetic numbers. Even when I used tape around the edges, I still occasionally lost the one on the hood. It is just not worth it. Two choices: For the beginner, consider just using stickers placed on your windows (or markers) provided that your DE group permits that. Most do. Second, buy vinyl numbers. I don't bother trying to reuse, but they are easy on the paint and you just throw them away after the weekend. .02
