Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Its loaded with alot of stuff. I checked it out and its in pretty good condition. Although the navigation & speakers are a bit loose and there are some scratches and a crack near the navigation and stereo which they said they will repair if I buy it. It also has a VHS player ( yuk) and a dvd player that shows on the small somewhat crappy navigation monitor. The tires look brand new and the dealer said they cost about $8k alone. Here are the rest of the specs as listed at the dealer. Its not a porsche dealer but these guys have about 95% used porsches and a couple of new porsches. So thats their specialty. The car did look a bit tacky with that yellow leather interior and VHS player. But the sound system was great and the rims looks great as well. But they do take up the back seats & even the seat belts were removed from the back seats. Also, what little trunk space there is , is full with the amp, equalizer VHS & dvd system. So, not much room to put anything at all. 2001 PORSCHE CARRRERA CABRIOLET 20K MI; LAPIS BLUE/BEIGE,SUPPLE LTHR; TIP-TRONIC, CLIMATE CONTROL, C.C; TILT, NAVIGATION / DVD / VHS, PREMIUM CUSTOM STEREO SYSTEM, FULL PWR. & HTD. SEATS, WOOD PKG; PSM; 19 CHROME ALLOYS, CHROME EXHAUST TIPS, $52,499 Is this a great price considering all the upgrades & if it passes the PPI? What do you think? http://img309.imageshack.us/img309/9...orsche15gf.jpg http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/1...orsche39tg.jpg http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/1...orsche49ai.jpg http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/5...orsche56pd.jpg http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/8...orsche64ko.jpg

POST 2Original post

Are they otions you would have wanted to begin with? Besides, what in the world do you need a vcr in a P-Car for? Not diggin those 310 Motoring brakes. Who owned this car, P-Diddy?

POST 3Original post

I hardly consider those things "upgrades". $8,000 for 19" chrome wheels? A VCR player? I would ask the dealer to put stock 18" rims on and knock the price down by $8,000 and put the rear seats back on and knock the price down another $1,000. If you want bling, go buy an Escalade with 22" spinners. Plus I heard Escalades have a $2,000 DirecTV option now -- much more pimpin' than a VCR.

POST 4Original post

POST 5Original post

Car looks good, But that system is a bit ..well not for a porsche and the price seems way too high, but hey if you like it buy it

POST 6Original post

I've got a 67 Cad Convertible sitting in the back forty??? I can let you have it with the original eight track, or be more then happy to install a dvd if you desire? For that extra BLING...it comes with a set of spinners. $52,499...Keep looking. Tom L

POST 7Original post

A cab with a tip and a wood interior is going to be a slow mover, and those down-I mean-upgrades don't add squat to the value of the car, esp the non-oem crap.

POST 8Original post

At least its not Beta Car looks goofy and wayyyyy overpriced......word Signed, Vanilla Ice

POST 9Original post

Is this a great price considering all the upgrades & if it passes the PPI? What do you think? ---------------- Does it have the Porsche Microwave or beverage cooler in the rear seat console area? and that back seat would be kind of interesting to sit on! No offense and I hope you get a P/car, but, I'd walk away from this one. Its just to bling'd out

POST 10Original post
