Evening, I'm looking to either rebuild my calipers, buy refurbished, or buy new for my 01 996 cab. I came across what looks like a relatively new vendor. These look really good!!! The only caution I would throw out there is I can't tell if the calipers are powder coated or painted. I'm running Boxster calipers on my Jetta TDi and they are painted and clear coated. They're fine, but if I had it to do over again, I'd pay for the powder coating. Just my $0.02

Porsche does not make a rebuilt kit for the 996 calipers. Still there's some shops that do them and quite well from what I've heard. Another is Hayworth: http://www.hayworthracingbrakes.com/ OP, how much are the new calipers?
