Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

That said, I'd be upset if I bought a 911 and it turned out to be green too.
Leading evidence: 'green too' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'green too' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Clean not' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Filter should probably be cleaned soon, if I had to guess.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

MG944, the pic of your avatar is my Porsche 944 a decade ago. It was a sweet car that got me quite a few Auto-x titles.
Anyway, the K&N kit will fit any 996 Carrera or Carrera 4/S from 1999 through 2005.

I'd rather not ship to Singapore
PM (will be shortly) replied to.
Here's a pic of everything you'll get in the car (taken today):
and off the car (also taken today):
You're dumping something you know doesn't work, might even have a detrimental affect, and you're asking for payment.
Most knowledge owners wouldn't accept it even if it were free.
Next stop....trash can.
Calm down there big guy. I don't like aftermarket intakes and exhausts, I've said so many times here on Rennlist while selling some that came on my car... People want what they want and in this case if somebody wants a K&N intake, they get to save a fair amount of money.
That said, I'd be upset if I bought a 911 and it turned out to be green too.
The filter should be cleaned, not replaced. That's supposed to be one of the big selling points of K&N filters/kits, the fact that you save money in the long run by not continually buying new filters, just don't oil it too much.
About the car, it's in great shape, but honestly it was an impulse buy while I was looking for something crazier (a turbocharged old BMW or a 996 turbo or something), but a few weeks w/my Volvo 850 T-5 and I had to get something else ASAP. That and I was super psyched about my new bike and needed something to transport it with, so I bought this. It's a silver 2002 with black interior, several sets of shifters ha! (the B&M shifter w/a console will be for sale shortly and I will keep the 997 GT3 shifter), thin 5 spoke 18 inch wheels, xenons and the sound package. No PSM this time. Being me, I've already put some coolant hoses/fittings, oil filler tube and a stock airbox(!) in it. I bet the previous owner didn't notice half this stuff... Honestly, it wasn't even a good deal and as **** as I am about cars I'm sure I'll lose a few $ on this thing too but like I said, it was an impulse buy after I picked up my Gary Fisher Superfly (full carbon hard tail single speed with Elixir carbon brakes, Industry 9 hubs, Fox RLC fork, etc for those in the know), and just had to have something pimp to drive it with.
sorry to poke my nose in here and really I like you all... but if someone is selling something that YOU dont like or want... why say anything....I have bought stuff from Ahmet before and he is a good guy...he is not claiming anything about any parts other then they are available to buy from him as stated...
Best of luck on the sale - buy with confidence who ever is interested in this
K&N claims significant power gains, I'm generally skeptical of that type of thing. That and it's louder, which I don't want. Anyway, already sold. I just don't understand why it's such a bad thing for me to sell a used intake to somebody who wants one at half the price they could get it anywhere else...
On the 944 turbo, it was always one of the first things done. On that car I did it because it seemed like I was always working on an accessory and it made removal much easier. I suppose it cleans up the 996 engine bay also but removing the factory airbox is actually easier than anything aftermarket I've seen. Not that the 996 needs the constant maintenance that the older cars did...
