Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

how do you get access to the rear springs on 03 c4 cab are there any DIY out there?

POST 2Original post

remove strut IIRC you have to disconnect the drop link to sway bar, and take off one bolt... then remove 3 nuts up top....its complicated, might take 10-20 minutes to remove... why are you removing it

POST 4Original post

Here is a link to a C2, it probably won't be the same but maybe a start. https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...+spring+access

POST 5Original post

The reason he's asking the question is because the top of the strut is apparently difficult to access in a cab. The guy who installed mine did a real bang up job.

POST 6Original post

OIC - coupes have a piece of foam that cover it... simply held in place by friction.... so I guess on a cab step one - remove top

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks guys we were able to get rear deck off this gave me access to struts, took some time but we got it done. Will try and post pics
