Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It was a tough decision, I love this car. I think of every reason I can to drive it. Perfect, beautiful car, still in my garage but I miss it already. The car would be exactly what I want if it had a little more power. So, I will be back with a turbo. Watching prices on auction sites and checking cars.com, its getting cold already and before you know it snow will be flying. I'm going to try to hold off until close to spring before I make my move. Here it is.....was.

Sorry you had to sell! But hopefully it will be going to a new owner that will appreciate it as much as you. And 996 turbo prices should be very attractive in the spring! And maybe, just maybe, the new owner can get an even larger set of wheels to fit lol. -td

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

That's funny, I think that is one of the reasons he bought it. He loved the stance and look. I didn't have to sell it, that's the hard part! I think I'm a little nuts

POST 5Original post

Congrats on the sale, even though it hurts a little. Have fun turbo shopping in the spring!

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks, I will. If I can make it that long.

POST 8Original post

I have never seen a targa in real life, are they rare ?

POST 9Original post

um buying a sports car in the spring? cheaper? uh ok, let us know how that works out. however, do check for a used car around / and in the south; cash is talking big time here. most people (me included) are gritting our teeth trying to sell at the moment. (2001 audi TT for $11,500) <---plug here

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Who said anything about cheaper in spring? I'm not wanting to buy a turbo now and have it sit in my garage all winter. I have a good connection cars, I always end up driving for just about free. Well, that's what my friend says every time I get another car. "Matt wants to drive for free again"

POST 11Original post
