Seems like the discs being sent out were updated in Aug 2004. I recently contacted Navteq and a new version will be out in Aug/Sept 2005. So it appears in a couple of months, this version will also be outdated. This is part of a service campaign, so I'm not sure whether it applies to all 2003+ cars with PCMII or just some specific models. Ryan

I called Navteq, and got some shi//y news. I just installed a used PCM2, and purchased the 3 disk set directly from Navteq ($199). I get NO free update in the future.....those upgrades weren't generated by Navteq, but rather by Porsche. Had I known, I'd have waited until Aug, and continued to use the older disks. When you get newer disks, or at least in my case, upon inserting disk, I got a message that said "updating software." So now, I can't go back to the older disks. Oh well, maybe there won't be that much of a difference between '04 disks, and '05 disks.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
