Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.
Discussions that contain suggestions
1
0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
I was told to replace the rears with the same brand/type as the fronts.
Leading evidence: 'Replace rears' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace rears' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Replace the rears, wait for all four to go, then do all four same brand.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1-I'm almost down to the wear bars on my Conti rears.....loads of life left on the fronts.....I want new wheels, and I was going to switch to Potenza's...... would you guys buy one more set of rears, and then change over when everything's worn, or would you dump a useable set of fronts, and get all new tires now?
2-Do any of you give a cr_p about the NBA playoffs? I had season tix for 8 years when I lived in LA, during the Magic/Bird era, and loved every minute of every game....now these overpaid weasles have made me completely disinterested, except maybe the chance to see Shaq win it all, and then give the bird to the Lakers.
3-How 'bout them Yankees?
1. I was recently in the exact same situation except I am on pzeros. I was told to replace the rears with the same brand/type as the fronts. In fact, I was warned not to mix/match. So I went with pzeros... this time next year I'll think about what to change to for both front & rear. BTW, when the rear were on bars, it was bone-jarring! Now with the new tires it feels like a MB! Wait until I put my PSS9s and GT3 sways on though...

2. Agreed. Owned season tix (and still do) since late '80's with our startup Hornets, only get the finger from the owner and have him move the team, have Bob Johnson move to town with new team, and have my old seats (10 rows back, dead center mid court) go from $65 to $150 for our new arena!
3. We'll talk in October.
What didn't you like about the Contis? They are not an ideal track tire, but have been good for only street driving on my tt. If it's street use, I'd wait to get 4. How far did the Contis go?
When Alan Iverson becomes the poster child for a sport, I'm not sure we are the target audience. I gave up my Bulls tickets this year (after 15 years, starting with MJ). AS
I find the Conti's noisy....Hard to tell about miles, because I bought the car used, and they weren't original tires. I've put 6k on the car, so I'm guessing about 10k for rears, but not sure.
1. Don't mix and match tires.
2. Lakers?
3. Yankees?
I find professional sports leaving a bad taste in my mouth. There's simply too much money involved and the owners and players have forgotten that they exist only for the fans. Unfortunately, this is seeping down to some of the college teams. Is anyone playing for the love of the game?
1. Toyo T1-S. Had them on my 993 and I have about 7000 miles on them on my 996. Consumer Reports did a high performance tire test in November 2003. Check it out on their website. I am very pleased all around.
2. I had season ticketsfor years to the Trailblazers and was there in 1977 when they ook the championship. Now, I refuse to watch those thugs because I don't want to support their drug habit or lawless behavior.
It depends if your are happy with the Conti's. If you are its kind of a waste to dump the fronts. In this case I'd get two rears. If you're not happy then I'd go for the Potenza S02A which I have on my car and I think they are pretty good.
