Mine did this a long time ago, turned out that the assembly had worked itself just loose enough to not make a good contact with rear plug harness.

All, my drivers side turn signal recently stopped working. when i try to engage it i get the fast blinking indicator light on the dash. when i arm the alarm, only the passengers side light blinks outside the car. i changed the bulb today, but that didn't fix it. i also looked for a fuse that might be causing this, but it didn't look like there are separate fuses for the drivers and passengers side turn indicators, so i ruled out fuses. so, it's not the bulb, it's not the fuse, what else could it be? before i start tracing wiring, does anyone have any other things to look for? thanks... josh

Did you check both the front and rear bulbs? Rapid blinking usually indicates bulb burned out or a bad connection. Is the headlight connection seated completely?

On older cars, usually the fast blinking indicates the blinker switch/relay needs to be replaced.

Josh, The fuse diagram is misleading and incomplete. I would go thru each fuse one by one until you check them all. My bet is that you will find one blown.

Where do they use them? Actually, on a rare occasion, I've seen a car with Mass. plates using the blinker in Maine.
